These terms cover the One-Page Website, bought at a fixed $3,000 through this site. Larger projects are governed by the proposal signed for that work.
A single long-form web page of up to eight sections, designed and built for you, and deployed to hosting in your name. Specifically:
The build cannot start without these, and delays in supplying them delay the launch:
Nothing is hosted by us. The page lives on your account from the day it launches, which is why access is needed to deploy it — and why you are never locked to us afterwards.
You confirm you own, or are licensed to use, everything you send us. We are not responsible for copyright or trademark claims arising from material you supply.
Two weeks from the day your copy and images arrive — not from the day you pay. If material arrives piecemeal, the clock starts when the last of it lands.
If a review point passes without feedback for more than five working days, the timeline extends by the same number of days. That is not a penalty; it simply reflects that the work is paused.
Two rounds of revisions are included at the design stage. A round means one consolidated set of feedback, not a running conversation.
Further rounds, changes requested after launch, and additional pages are quoted separately. Additional pages are $500 each, before or after launch.
These are real projects in their own right and are quoted separately:
Before design work begins — that is, before you have been sent the first design — you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.
After the first design has been sent, the deposit covering work already done is non-refundable. If you cancel at that point we will refund 50% of the fee and you keep nothing; the design and code remain ours.
After launch, the fee is non-refundable. The thirty-day support period covers defects — things not working as agreed — and we will fix those at no charge. It does not cover changes of mind, which are quoted as new work.
If we fail to deliver the page at all, you get a full refund. That is the commitment behind the fixed price.
If we do not hear from you for sixty days after requesting something we need to continue, the project is treated as paused and archived. We will always email before that happens.
Restarting an archived project is possible within twelve months at no extra cost. After twelve months it is quoted afresh, because the work will need redoing.
On full payment, the finished page — design, copy layout and code — is yours. You can edit it, move it, or hand it to another developer.
We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and to reuse underlying techniques and components, which are not exclusive to any one project. If you would prefer the work not appear publicly, tell us and it will not.
The page is deployed to your hosting account, in your name, so you are never locked to us. Hosting, domain registration, and any third-party services the page relies on are contracts between you and those providers. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or policies.
We build carefully and test what we ship, but no website is guaranteed to be free of faults, and no one can guarantee search rankings, traffic or sales.
Our total liability for any claim connected to this work is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our servers. The $3,000 is charged once; there is nothing recurring.
The terms that apply to your project are the ones published on the day you paid. Later revisions to this page do not change what was agreed with you.
Questions about any of this, before or after buying — book a call and ask. If you have already bought, replying to your order confirmation reaches us directly. A plain conversation is usually faster than a clause.
